Asian Forum will continue for at least five years supported by the Japanese government. It will specify the most commonly concerned needs in Asia and have them recognized among the member countries. It will provide opportunities to create better understanding of common issues such as standardization, legal structure, fire and safety system, environment control, sustainability, technology transfer and exchange of resources. It will establish common vision for achieving more effective international collaboration. Institute of International Harmonization for Building and Housing (IIBH), as the Secretariat, will provide the members with sufficient communication means such as a website of the forum. The members will propose the topics for the next conference and IIBH will organize the next conference.
